"In The Lands Once Known As Hestia, Three Eternal Hands Lay on The Crown, until The Crown Rests Upon A Head, no Hand shall be Struck Dead."

Ruin Has Come To Hestia

The World of Hestia stands within an apocalypse.
One hundred years ago on the eve of the Radiant King's death, the sun grew red in the sky, changing the order of the world as the Crimson Haze descended onto the earth. With this Haze came horrid creatures, impossible structures, and all that was collapsed onto itself. Since that day, humanity has eked out a small existence on the edge of extinction, nowhere is safe, save for the Four Cities.

The Cities

Humanity has rallied behind one of four banners, each belonging to a great hero that has worked tirelessly to create some livable standard of living. The Cities stand many miles apart, the lands between them are unforgiving and unpredictable and the civilizations that scrape by between them are scattered and dwindling.

The Fifth City

There was once another city, one led by the legendary Royal Knight Toris.
Together with his mythical abilities and the planning of the kingdom's best tactical leaders-they created the closest thing to a functioning society within The Hazelands.
However, one year ago it fell under siege by The Scarlet Court's forces. They held fast against the Demonic Invaders, but an unknown threat rose above the city, a pitch-black sphere many call The Black Sun. It spewed forth The Void, an ancient evil, and the city fell.
Toris himself sent his son away with what little sanity he retained before falling to the void himself...

The Five Horrors

In the end, The Cities only slow the dying of the light.
The Seers speak of the Five Horrors.
Born of the Crimson Curse, they are unimaginably powerful and completely inhuman. They herald the end of the world, from their citadels, their armies, their spells, and their machinations. If humanity does not collapse in on itself, the Horrors will beat against its defenses until they eventually fall.

The Three Princes

The Radiant King was not alone in his castle, now overrun by the bulk of the Crimson Horrors.
He had three sons to his name, each gifted in their own way. But each flew from the castle all those years ago, and each was cursed with horrid immortality whilst the crown lay unclaimed. Whether through new bodies, reincarnation, or through regeneration, they would persist until the crown rests on one of their brows.
They now find themselves united by the fall of The Fifth City and the rise of the Black Sun.
They approach the Oathsworn's lands as they campaign to gain the aid of the four heroes in their quest to restore the world while slowly fighting each other for a hand on the crown.
